Hawkmoths from Fraser's Hill , Malaysia

 Frasers Hill  , MCM Discovery Villa is located at aprox 4,300 feet above sea level ( Ben Nevis height)  in the cloud forests of  Pahang .The area is a little smaller than Northowram village and in the last 14 years the local recorders have recorded in excess of 4,300 moth species many un-named to science...Its very daunting to even start to identify so many species !!!!! so I have tried to stick to the Hawkmoths on my last 2 visits....seeing the Asian form of Deaths Head Hawkmoth and many others has been amazing to say the least , I have seen nearly 40 species of Hawkmoth including 2 day flying Hummingbird types........I am in the process of getting the list together but here are a few from this visit..The Green Rippled Hawkmoth  in the post below really was out standing.....
