Just managed to get to Ogden to see the Whoopers before they headed off..A quick look at Walshaw plantation saw a flock of apox 100 mixed Brambling , Siskin , Goldfinch , Chaffinch , Cole Tit and Robins..Also in the area Raven , Buzzard (4) , Lapwing (100+) Curlew 40 + ,17 Oystercatcher ,1 Stonechat , Grey Wag , Pied Wag , 10 Golden Plover. and displaying Stock Dove...
A regular look at the wildlife that I come across in Calderdale and days out around the UK.Most observations are from the house and gardens Vis mig records are within 500m of the house.Keep it Local.

Thanks for the lift back along Widdop Road this aft Andy - greatly appreciated as those legs were tiring!!. A great day to be out and plenty of birds to see up there. So enjoyable.
