Staithes........beautiful

A welcome break from work took us to Staithes in North Yorks , a small Kittiwake Colony near the harbour held a few pairs of Fulmar , Razorbill , Gullimots and a few Yellowhammer in the scrub. Manx Shearwater , Gannets , Sandwich terns out at sea and the Little Egret roosted in with the herring Gulls opposite my room window...............

It must be unbelievable living somewhere like that.

Yes its great to know that if you don't have loads of shitty takeaways and fish and chips all over the streets , the local Herring Gulls just go about there daily routine , there were chicks all over the streets just wandering around..and no one seem bothered at all.....

As always Andy, its not the birds that are the problem, its the people.
