A steady walk to start off the year , down the valley to shibden park then off to shibden valley return route.A total of 34 species the highlight 48 Pinkies heading wnw seen by Bri , Dave and Nick as they headed west over calderdale.a Little Owl, grey wag,10 fieldfare,7 Redwing and a nice flock of 35 Goldfinch.

A regular look at the wildlife that I come across in Calderdale and days out around the UK.Most observations are from the house and gardens Vis mig records are within 500m of the house.Keep it Local.

A good start off to the year Andy, well done getting the Pinkie message out quick. Pinkies were well to the south of me and would have sneaked passed but for the alert.
Nice one Bri,glad you got um,its the beauty of the grapevine when its that good.
