Pinks

Watched 80 Pinkies low over Northowram this morning heading west,2 greenfinch,1 Golfinch and a flap, flap glide Buzzard below the ski slope this aft.I have been meaning to count the jackdaws as they go to roost over the hose for a while so this evening seemed a good time to do so..,, 157 a very good count because i reckoned abot 80 usually(shows what counting properly does). In the distnace(way out by Holme Moss,I picked up some Pinkies heading east, they just kept coming all in all about 1500/2000 its a long way off so there could have been many more.???

That's a lot of pinkies Andy. Don't think we have had counts anything like that before? Glad you picked up the budgie.
