Elland Gravel Pits (RIP)
Waded through the chavs along the new road that links Brighouse with elland today.Its allways been bad down there but now they can get in without getting there reebocks dirty there everywhere.The bit I liked best was the bit they cleared for the new duck feeding station very reminisent of the one at ogden.When they put the by - pass in so you can get to Tag loop with out getting your reeboks dirty the place is doomed.Anyway managed 9 Orange Underwings and no migrants yet.

All good things come to an end.
Ogden was ideal until the plantation and waterside were opened to the public.
Banktop old reservoir site was fantastic until they made it into a country park, now its a drug dealers paradise.
Why can,t they leave things alone or let them be planned by the nature lovers?

elland gp has always been popular,tag cut was a fave of mine until they put the path round it.
i had brief trek down yesterday and new signs have gone up its now part of the 'calder valley greenway' wtf is that?yet still no nature reserve signs!!! the council and cbbg are a joke
Yep a Joke ,just waiting for the little hut with CB stickers 4 yr car or a pait balling club club to go with wankers on the fishing lake and ski lake
