Although the Brown Bears , Snakes and Salamanders stole the show , the Chamoix  held its own a mountain goat of great character . I watched between 5 and 12 playing on the mountain tops early one morning in Transylvania running up and down the snow capped peaks ..Fantastic to see.....Souslik were common , the odd Red Squirrel , One dead Pine martin on the road , Green Common Lizard , Tortoise.
