Dovestones
Whooper Swan on the res and a few Ravens cronking away...A fantastic flock of Starlings over the house first thing at least 500 +...
A good place to visit when it's quiet ! Those rocks look precarious. I looked on Grid Ref website shows a really bad burnt patch of moorland from a couple of years ago (?) Did you see that area or for signs of recovery ?
Yes , it looked good with small heather and various grasses pushing up through the burnt area....as soon as you get away from the main paths you have the area to yourself....beautiful area..
