Painted lady makes 23
Went to hebden for the HH day and took in the bit of waste ground at Mythom. First butterfly was this Painted lady my 23rd species in Calderdale this year...............................What a year its been.....................
You do well with I.D Andy. I can I.D about 5 and even struggle telling a Butterfly from a moth although moths are the ones that always fly in your face.
Will do Andy. Theres always plenty butterflies on the thistles down the track to the boat house. I,ve seen it alive with Peacocks down there in the past.

Bri ,, a tip for you ...if you see any large yellow Butterflys take a photo with BB2....its gonna be a migrant......................
