Well done Andy.
Hope the weather was kind.
No midges up there I guess?
John
The weather was not good for viewing , but good for walking,,,no midges at all.....Its a tough walk ....
Love the pictures Andy, well done. - brings back memories from c1970 when I went up there from the end of Glen Nevis Road, then up the waterfall route, due north to the top via a vertical bog then back down the main track (is that the Donkey Track or the Pig Track !??) No maybe the Pig Track is on Snowdon. Not sure I'll get up there again !!! (but I would love to).
dont know if I will get up there again ...maybe Ben Mcduiee( if thats how you spell it)
Looked a bit steep that way up Dave .....
It's very steep.... up the waterfall route. Don't ask me how to spell Mcduiee ?? but that is very much Snowy Owl habitat - very remote.
Singing Snow bunts in summer up the ski-lift on Cairn Gorm is very nice despite the tourism. Then start a walk at the top 4,084 feet soon leaves the traffic behind and never know what you might find up there.
Found it - Ben Macdui.
Have you done a few Monroes ,,??
Yes - but I'm not sure I will manage any more with this knee !!! Trying Whernside next - see how it goes before any Munroe's..
Ah we are going to do whernside this year......good luck...
