Freezing rain.......

Pretty grim weatherwise today...Nordic jackdaw showed well early morning and 14 herring Gulls south.1 Golden Plover (prob northern type)with splendid black belly ,4 lapwing,70 fieldfare ,45 Woodpigeon, 40 redwing in some excellent fields behind Old brods,a small flock of passerines looked like Sparrows but missed um..........Cromwell Bottom feeding station is just fantastic for having great views of Lesser redpolls ,no mealys yet though.I also watched a male goosdander displaying on the river which was a first for me.

I checked out every one of the Redpolls yesterday for Mealies too, then my imagination extended itself to Arctic, hehehe.

It could pull something good in ..maybe a Willow Tit or Lesser Pecker...
