'Nordic' Jackdaw
This is it ok I know its a realy bad photo but you can tell the white collar.Ive been looking for one of these for at least 5 years and here it is.

Well Spotted! Thats now 2 in 11 months in the Queensbury/Northowram area - I got one in March last year.
This individual shows some characteristics of the Russian Jackdaw ssp. soemmerrengii being very dark/black underneath and strong neck collar..will have to try and get some decent photos tomorrow..if its still about.

No pictures, the bird was flying past me, but it was close enough for the white on the head and collar to scream out at you.
