Stigmella aurella/emerges
The Leaf mine that I found on the 18th february emerged today.i am well pleased with this result.The middle photo shows the small case spun by the larvae in which the adult emerged from today.

Just think how many moth-ers go their whole life without ever seeing one of these.According to UK moths, this is the most common moth in the UK.
They are a wonder of the world those little things .Its amazing how common they are when you know what to look for.
