Caspian Gull 2nd Winter.....at Redcar Tarn
Many thanks to Bri Sumner for information on this bird and Gandalf the Grey for finding it...It was snowing when i got there and the wind was terrible so hopefully get back soon to get some more photos and maybe see the 1st winter ....
Glad you got it Andy with some good pics. It seems to show more in windy wet weather than on a decent day as it prefers the pond field where you photographed it. The 1st winter also uses that field but seems to spend more time on the water.
