Red Letter day
Two Buzzards high in the sky and in the valley below Northowram today was a great sight also 2 Grey partridge were firsts for northowram and a Jack Snipe was my second.2 Skylarks and my first Mipit of the year calling overhead was a real treat.40 Fieldfare are the last remaining thrushes from last weeks influx and the starlings are gone but the 25 + Linnets are still around.28 Pinkfeet on thursday and a few Herring Gulls still heading west.A pair of Stock Doves seem to be settling in the old barn again.
Great stuff, Buzzards and Jack Pot!
